Create your own ice cake! Choose up to 2 ice cream flavors and your preferred add-in for the center layer. All cakes are topped with a layer of fudge and decorated with whipped cream (sprinkles optional)

Your cake gets an inner layer of cake or cookie pieces.

For an additional fee, we can write a short message on your cake using white buttercream icing. Leave blank for no text.

If our signature cake varieties don’t strike your fancy, you can create your own! Choose up to 2 ice cream flavors as well as your preferred add-in middle layer and sprinkles. All cakes are topped with a layer of fudge and decorated with whipped cream.

Please note: if you choose “other” for one or more flavors, you should use the notes field at Checkout to tell us your choices. Check the Flavors page for the current selection. Because of changing production schedules, we may not be able to provide your first choice, so please specify at least one alternative.

If we cannot make your cake as ordered by the pickup day you request, we’ll contact you by phone or email.

Cake Ordering Information

All cakes must be picked up at our downtown location on Market Street. Currently, ice cream cake orders require a three day lead time.

To order, just select the date you’d like to get your cake, choose your other options and proceed to checkout! You can pick up any time during our downtown hours, which are shown at the bottom of this page. If you’re going to be unable to pick up your cake on the scheduled pickup day, you can call the shop at 919-564-7999 to let us know. Please see our terms and conditions for our information on refunds/cancellation.

Finished cakes are stored in a sub-zero freezer and should last a short trip in an air-conditioned car, but a cooler with ice packs is never a bad idea. For especially long trips or hot days, you may want to bring dry ice. In Durham, you can find dry ice at several Harris Teeter locations. Cake boxes are 10 × 10 × 5.5 inches for the small cake and 12 × 12 × 6 for the large cake.
