Durham’s Favorite Handmade Ice Cream
Fall/Winter Hours start November 3!
Seems like just days ago we were talking about summer hours (because we kinda just left it here on the homepage for a bit). But now Daylight Savings Time draws to a close, and as we Fall Back, we’ll have shorter weekday hours at both shops. Downtown’s hours will be 2-10pm Monday thru Thursday and noon–10pm Friday thru Sunday.
The Parlour Junior (at the Common Market) is still closed Mondays and will be 2-9pm Tuesday thru Friday, noon–9pm Saturday, and noon–8pm Sunday. Junior will also be closing at 3 pm on November 2 because the Common Market will be closing early that day.
Remember, that all starts in November. If you’re reading this in October between noon and 2pm, come on by!
Find our ice cream:
Our flagship Downtown Durham shop at 117 Market St. features housemade baked goods and espresso drinks in addition to our renowned ice cream! Our Old West Durham location known as The Parlour Junior is a mini scoop shop based out of The Common Market, featuring a smaller (but still exciting) menu.
You can also pre-order ice cream cakes on our site (for pickup downtown), or find select flavors in pints at The Durham Coop Market, Bulldega, Der Nachbar Bottleshop, and Melina’s Fresh Pasta. Plus, you can find our ice cream in desserts from Chez Moi Bakery and Alley Twenty Six. And members of the Duke community can now use dining points to buy select ½ pints at Thrive Kitchen!
We make the best ice cream around, with the best ingredients. Our flavors are inspired by the seasons, our favorite well-worn cookbooks, and our childhood ice cream memories.
